Yarn Care Guide

To keep your CloverÈre pieces looking beautiful and lasting longer, please follow these care instructions based on the yarn type.

General Care Tips

Hand Wash Recommended
Gently hand wash in cool or lukewarm water using a mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.

Machine Wash (if applicable)
If machine washing, use a delicate/gentle cycle with cold water and place the item in a mesh laundry bag.

Drying
Lay flat to dry on a clean towel away from direct sunlight or heat. Do not tumble dry as this may cause shrinkage or distortion.

Ironing
If ironing is needed, use a low heat setting and place a cloth between the iron and the garment to protect the fibres.

Storage
Store folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging knitwear as it can stretch out of shape over time.

By Yarn Type

Cotton Yarn
Machine washable on a gentle cycle. Can be tumble dried on low heat. Iron on medium heat if needed.

Wool & Wool Blends
Hand wash only in cool water. Lay flat to dry. Do not bleach or tumble dry.

Acrylic Yarn
Machine washable. Tumble dry on low. Avoid high heat as it can melt or distort the fibres.

Linen & Cotton-Linen Blends
Hand wash or gentle machine wash in cool water. Lay flat to dry. Can be ironed on medium heat.

Mohair & Alpaca
Hand wash gently in cool water with a wool-safe detergent. Lay flat to dry. Do not rub or wring.

Additional Tips

✦ Treat stains promptly by gently dabbing — never rubbing.
✦ Keep away from rough surfaces to prevent pilling.
✦ Use a fabric shaver to remove any pilling and restore the look of your piece.
